Dr.Chris Tomshack

Dr. Chris Tomshack is the founder and CEO of HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab. After graduating with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, he was also commissioned an officer in the United States Air Force, graduating top in his ROTC class. He then continued his study at the University of Toledo, where he was in the MBA program as well as serving as a teaching assistant in the marketing department. Dr. Tomshack then enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduation, Dr. Tomshack immediately opened his practice in Vermilion, Ohio. Practice growth came slow at first, finally reaching the point where Dr. Tomshack had the busiest practice around. He then retired from active practice at age 37 and began building multiple offices, opening three more successful practices. Many of the practice and business principles he introduced into his clinics came from his relentless study of other industries, always looking for ways to improve the way a practice should be run.

Realizing that he and his team had put together some of the most progressive treatment protocols and business systems ever introduced into chiropractic, he began the steps of building a true franchise for other chiropractors. Dr. Tomshack launched HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive rehab in April of 2006, and in a short time they have become the fastest growing franchise business and opportunity in chiropractic today, helping to build many successful and thriving practices all across the country.

Mr. Dugger is President and Chief Operations Officer of HealthSource. He received his bachelors of Business Administration from Arizona State Unversity. His business background is extensive and he has participated in many ventures including import/export, real estate, sales and marketing. He comes to HealthSource with over 10 years experience in Chiropractic. He has coached and developed Doctors, to aid them in succeeding, in every one of the United States when he was the former president of Chiropractic Elite Organization. He left his prior employment to partner and operate two clinics in the state of Texas that focused on the systems used today.

Mr. Dugger`s desire to be a part of building something great has been rekindled through his involvement with HealthSource and he is excited to share his knowledge with Franchisees and help them grow.

Dr. Jim Hoven

Dr. Hoven attended Colorado State University and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic. Since that time, Dr. Hoven has served the health care industry as a provider, an educator, and a trainer in many different organizations.

Through extensive lecturing and community involvement, he has built several successful chiropractic practices throughout the Denver area and has been requested to lecture at numerous business, civic, and governmental events. More recently, Dr. Hoven has traveled the country consulting with medical clinics on documentation and coding issues related to physical medicine procedures.

He currently serves HealthSource members through franchise development and training.

Dr. David Neubauer

David Neubauer graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1983. Following a year in practice he traveled to San Diego, CA to attend the Asian American Acupuncture Medical University where he graduated and obtained his Acupuncture Medical Degree. He practiced for 17 years in Bird Island, MN and built a huge business in a small town.

He is Adjunct Faculty and past President of the Alumni Association at NHSU and trains each month for HealthSource Franchisees in Cleveland, Ohio. He has lectured throughout the United States, Canada and South America on personal development, communication skills and TEAM building and most enjoys watching others become the success they deserve to be.

His greatest joy however remains being married to his beautiful wife of 26 years, Carrie and three outstanding children, Cole, Ross and Anne.

Ms. Kristen Wallace

Ms. Wallace has over 10 years of accounting and finance experience as an analyst and ultimately a controller. Kristen is responsible for accounting, treasury and financial management. A portion of these responsibilities is concerned with statistical analysis, future-casting and quantitative business analysis, both for HealthSource Corporate as well as HealthSource franchises. Prior to joining HealthSource, she started her career as an assistant controller at G.I. Plastek. From there, she seized an opportunity to gain additional financial reporting experience with TransDigm, Inc., a Warburg Pincus backed portfolio company. There she served as a financial analyst and reported directly to the CFO. During her time at TranDigm, profits increased in excess of $100 million and the company completed it's initial public offering (NYSE:TDG). Kristen's next position was being the controller at Walsh Manufacturing Company where she oversaw all finance and human resource functions.

Kristen is a graduate from Bowling Green State University with BS in Business Administration/Accounting.

Dr. Frank Dachtler

Dr. Frank Dachtler received his B.A. in Chemistry and Psychology form Case Western Reserve University. After working as a chemist for the U.S. EPA emergency technical assistance team, he attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Dachtler opened his first practice in Bedford, Ohio. He also started, or owned 5 additional clinics in the Cleveland area.

Dr. Frank built several successful businesses and in April of 2006, decided to join up with HealthSource to open up even greater opportunities within the profession. Adding two more offices to the HS Family in February 2007 (HS of Norton, OH) and September 2007 (HS of Toledo Southwest), he has created opportunities for other D.C's and team members alike. He officially joined the HealthSource Corporate Team in 2008 as the Director of Marketing. He brings to the team an extensive knowledge of marketing, team and patient management, as well as an understanding of the HealthSource model from a practical standpoint.

Mr. Szucs graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to joining HealthSource, he worked as a technical writer for a small software firm, writing technical and online "help files." He later moved on to the world of journalism, covering feature stories and hard-breaking news events as a reporter for the Elyria, Ohio-based newspaper The Chronicle-Telegram. A two-time Associated Press Award winner, Mr. Szucs has taken home numerous local and state awards.

He enjoys utilizing that same drive and passion in creating new, compelling marketing content for HealthSource franchises throughout the nation. You'll find Mr. Szucs always willing to listen and lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Amber Turman's primary role with HealthSource is providing IT (information technology) support to all franchise owners and the corporate office. She studied at Kent State University with Business Administration and Communications majors. She then returned to the classroom to further her education and pursue a degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Systems Processing in order to gain valuable skills in this ever-changing environment.

Amber is a wealth of knowledge that all our franchise owners quickly realize and appreciate, and she also handles special projects for our franchise owners when needed. She epitomizes the phrase 'team player' and is a tireless contributor to the team.

Jennifer Gandee is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration. Her primary roles with HealthSource are in franchise support and sales. She works directly with our Director of Sales with respect to communicating with and to all prospective HealthSource franchise owners, answering many of their questions along the way. In addition, she manages and coordinates each and every Discovery Day as well as our 4 day intensive training program for new franchise owners. She has contagious energy and never seems to slow down. She is instrumental in the transition process a new franchise owner engages in while learning the HealthSource systems.

Jenna plays a pivotal role at HealthSource. She works in the trenches of our Marketing Department, handling the day-to-day activities involved with marketing operations while lending support on larger campaigns. She also assists in franchise support, working directly with our Director of Sales, and is often the first point of contact when clients call needing assistance. You'll find Jenna always eager to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

Jenna came to HealthSource after an illustrious career as the head of marketing for Sylvan Learning Center. She holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University, double majoring in marketing and management.

Caitlin is an integral member of our Business Development department here at HealthSource. She Graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. She interned with HealthSource in our marketing department while in college. She also had a prior position as an office manager for a chiropractic practice before joining our team.

Her main role in HealthSource is to communicate with chiropractors exactly what our vision represents and determine if that's a fit with their vision about their career, their patients and of course their family.

Caitlin works diligently on territory research to ensure that we are communicating with only the best potential members for our exclusive HealthSource Family. Her goal is to see how we can help chiropractors and future chiropractors achieve their personal and professional goals. When not conducting these duties, Caitlin assists the marketing and sales team with a plethora of additional activities.

Amy DeFilippo has a dual role here at HealthSource; providing Progressive Rehab™ training at HealthSource University in addition to her duties on our Business Development team. When not instructing new franchises in the art of Progressive Rehab™, Amy spends the bulk of her day communicating with prospective franchise owners and assisting them in their due diligence process.

Amy graduated with a Management and Marketing Business Degree, and is an ACE-certified personal trainer in addition to holding numerous other rehab certifications. She managed Dr. Tomshack’s very first HealthSource Progressive Rehab™ department for many years before joining the corporate team, and continues to motivate and inspire through her extensive Progressive Rehab™ knowledge. Our franchise owners can count on having any of their rehab questions answered, as well as learn how to raise the “energy” in their own rehab departments. Robert Summers oversees our Business Development division and thoroughly enjoys his position coaching prospective franchise owners. He is an Idaho native and attended Boise State University (Go Broncos!). Robert has 10+ years experience in sales, marketing and coaching for real estate, internet and insurance companies across the globe. His enthusiasm for life and shared success are evident in all of his business and personal pursuits.

In his spare time, Robert serves in his local community and enjoys the many outdoor activitiesBoise, Idaho has to offer. He has been happily married for 10 years to his sweetheart Sandi, and together they have 3 fabulous children Dylan, Kennady and Alivia.

Mr. Horwitz graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. He spent the next seven years writing feature stories and covering everything from crime and politics to business and schools for two daily Ohio newspapers, first at the Sentinel-Tribune in Bowling Green and then the Chronicle-Telegram, in Elyria. He has taken home numerous awards for his articles, including one from the Associated Press for Best News Writer.

Never one to stop learning, Mr. Horwitz is currently getting a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cleveland State University. That same passion for knowledge and inherent curiosity is put to great use developing dynamic marketing content for HealthSource franchises throughout the world.
